BC Kyiv celebrated a 86:55 road win in game-day 4 of the Ukrainian Superleague, this time having defeated Sumykhimprom.
Kyiv paid special attention to Sumy’s snipers, starting the game with a 13-2 run and limiting them to only 6 three-point attempts in the first half. The home side never managed to break Kyiv’s defensive barriers, losing for the 3rd time in new season’s 4 matches.
Captain Artur Drozdov had a game-high 15 points, adding 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Marcus Faison and Marco Maravic both contributed with 14 points.
Sumy’s Oleg Kozhenets had team-best 10 points.
Still with a perfect record, Kyiv will face Khimik Yuzhnyi on November 3.
Meanwhile, Kyiv’s youngsters crashed Sumy’s junior team 109:54. Andri Lebedintsev was the game’s top scorer with 25 points, adding 7 assists. Sumy’s Mykola Yeriomin had 21 points and 7 rebounds.
