BC Kyiv won their 2007/08 Superleague season opener against Politekhnika-Galychyna Lviv 92:75 behind a balanced effort from the entire team.

Kyiv, last season’s league runner-up, executed well on both ends of the court, controlling the flow of the game from the tip-off till the final buzzer.

Their captain Artur Drozdov fell one rebound short off a double-double. He had a team-high 14 points, adding 9 rebounds and 4 steals. Pooh Jeter also shared the team-high 14 points, while Vladimir Krstic had 11 and Marcus Faison, Marco Maravic and Manuchar Markoishvili scored 10 apiece.

Lviv’s Pavel Ulianko had a game-high 21 points, finding the mark on all of his 7 field goal attempts, including 5 three-pointers.
