BC Kyiv continue piling up victories in the Ukrainian Superleague – tonight they claimed their 18th straight after defeating Budivelnik 86:77.

Marcus Faison scored 7 points early in the game to propel Kyiv to a 13:7 lead. The margin remained up to the break, after which Budivelnik reduced it and even went ahead by one.

Kyiv quickly responded with 4 triples from Marko Maravic, Ryan Stack, Marcus Faison and Artur Drozdov to get a 17-point cushion at halftime.

Kyiv led by as many as 25 during the third quarter, which allowed Tomo Mahoric to give some playing time to his reserves, which was the reason Budivelnik cut the lead to 9.

Artur Drozdov had 21points, 5 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 assists. Marko Maravic and Pooh Jeter added 14 apiece, while Marcus Faison finished the game with 13.

Meanwhile, BC Kyiv’s Farm Team crashed Budivelnik 106:68. Denys Lukashov had a solid all-around performance – 27 points,  9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals.
