BC Kyiv’s U-15 team finished their participation in the Kyiv stage of the 2007-2008 EYBL season with a 44:57 loss to Latvian side BS Gulbene.

Despite the loss, Kyiv’s coach Andrei Kharchinskiy was satisfied with his team’s performance:

“The kids did a great job”, he said. “Because of injuries I could only use 6 players against the more experienced opponents and we managed to stay in the game with one of the division’s favorites. This season is our first time playing in an international league and I thing we did pretty well. Having gained this experience and having found out what the level of other EYBL teams is, we’ll be able to make adjustments and improve our results next year”.
