BC Kyiv’s farm team is now battling in the tournament of the top 6 league teams. With 3 games behind and 2 to go, Kyiv’s juniors are seeded 3rd behind Dnipro and Mykolaiv.
Kyiv opened the tournament up with a confident 87:72 win over Politekhnika-Galychyna behind 20 points and 4 rebounds by Denys Lukashov.
Mykolaiv was stronger than Kyiv on day 2, defeating them 85:95. Ruslan Otrevchenko had 26 points for Kyiv, while Andrey Lebedintsev added 19 and 9 rebounds.
Mykolaiv’s sensation Serhiy Gladyr was unstoppable with 29 points and 9 rebounds.
Kyiv had little difficulty in a game with Azovmash on Day 3, claiming a 93:71 win. Denys Lukashov had 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Kyiv will face Khimik and Dnipro on Friday and Saturday.
