BC Kyiv swept their quarterfinal series against Dnipro, having defeated the Dnipropetrovsk team 70:92 in game 3.

Both teams demonstrated some run-and-gun basketball at the start of the contest. The visitors were more fluent in this style of play, earning a 26:18 first quarter advantage. Marcus Faison and Marko Maravic contributed most to this lead.

Dnipro managed to cut the lead to 4 after grabbing a couple of offensive boards and a technical foul to Kyiv’s bench, but the visitors executed 3-set plays to perfection to finish the half up by 7.

Kyiv toughened up on defense at the start of the 3rd quarter, organizing an 11:0 run during the first 4 minutes of the stretch. This was a pivotal moment in the game – Dnipro never managed to recover from the blow and Kyiv took home the victory.
