BC Kyiv’s new head coach Sasa Obradovic arrived to Kyiv on Friday. He is replacing Tomo Mahoric, who, despite raising Kyiv’s game to a new level, failed to reach goals, set by the club’s administration prior to the season. Obradovic will be joined by assistants Ivan Jeremic and Denys Zhuravliov.

Currently the team and Mahoric are negotiating a buyout.

Meanwhile, Power Forward Kenan Bajramovic became Kyiv’s first offseason acquisition. He had played for the team’s main rivals Azovmash Mariupol in 2005 – 2007, helping them overcome Kyiv in the Finals in back-to-back season. Bajramovic spent the 2007/08 season with the Lietuvos Rytas.
