BC Kyiv have signed a high-profile American point-guard Scoonie Penn (178 cm, 31 y.o.).

Penn comes to Kyiv after a successful Euroleague season with Efes Pilsen, where he averaged almost 11 points per game, becoming match-day MVP twice. He improved his scoring in Top 16, raising his stats to 12.5 points and adding 3.3 assists per contest.

Scoonie had a breakout season in 2002/03 with Crvena Zvezda, averaging almost 16 points and adding 4 assists per game in the Adriatic League. He went on to play for Cibona, Makedonikos and Olympiakos later in his career.
