BC Kyiv have ended the 2008/09 regular season with a low-scoring 55:45 win over BC Pulsar.

The visitors were up by one at the end of the first period and extended their lead to eight points midway through the second frame. But Pulsar replied with a run of their own and reduced Kyiv’s advantage to just two points at the end of the half.

Pulsar went on to score just five points in quarter number three and Kyiv answered with 10 to obtain a seven-point lead entering the final frame. No chances were given for Pulsar to steal the win as both teams were preparing to face each other in the first round of the playoffs.

Manuchar Markoishvili had a game-high 18 points. Artur Drozdov had 9 points and 15 rebounds.
