BC Kyiv lost both games of the Govorunov memorial in Dnepropetrovsk
First of all should be mentioned, than Kyiv played without Denys Lukashov, who stayed at home because of injury. But even without main point guard “wolves” performed well against Dnipro. Kyiv didn’t have a great start, but after first half Vitaliy Cherniy’s team started to control situation on the boards and proved their abilities to stay in the game. Vyacheslav Kravtsov dunked to knot the game at 50:50 with 10 minutes to go. But in the last quarter Ruslan Otverchenko and Oleksandr Lypovyy made three turnovers in a row which cost them a win – 58:66 for Dnipro.
Next day Kyiv showed inability to deal with the Kryvbassbasket’s full court pressure – 66:91 (31:17, 21:12, 17:21, 22:16).
