Kyiv stated the game very confidently, grabbing a 35:21 lead in the middle of the second quarter. But Khimik’s zone defense helped visitors to come back in third frame – 59:65. Darrel Mitchell fired 22 points, issued 9 assists and grabbed 6 boards to lead the visiting team. LaVell Blanchard added 17 points, 6 boards and 6 steals which helped Khimik to win the game 74:80 (27:14, 13:20, 19:31, 15:15).
