In the quarterfinal of Superleague cup BC Kyiv defeated MBC Mykolaiv for the second time with the total score of 158:145.

Teams opened the game trading baskets. Viacheslav Kravtsov and Oleg Saltovets finally allowed BC Kyiv to clear off as they ensured a 10:6 lead. Visitors answered with 7 points from Daniel McClintock who tied the score at 14:14 after first ten minutes of play.

Thanks to zone defense BC Kyiv reached a 26:20 lead but Mykolaiv had the last word in second frame as they made a 34:35 turn.

In the second half the hosts were unstoppable. Denys Lukashov and Dmytro Zabirchenko accounted for quick 10 points as BC Kyiv restored their lead to make it 44:39.

McClintock dragged Mykolaiv within 6 points with just three minutes remaining in the third stanza. However BC Kyiv came up with a tremendous defensive effort in the reminder of the contest keeping Mykolaiv scoreless and securing a confident win at the end - 78:71.
